Blog Session 8: A subject I have enjoyed
Hi classmates
Today I am going to present a subject I have enjoyed. The subject that I like the most is Epistemology. The teacher who does the subject is Juan Enrique Opazo. Profesor Opazo is a very good educator because he has the charisma and the abilitys to explain the contenst of the subject vey easily. Also he makes the subject interest you and you like it.
In espistemology we see the main philosophical currents about knowledge and how they relate to the social sciences.
we started the subject with the epestimology of Fancis Bacon and Rene Descartes and their differences. Then we study Immanuel Kant and Friedrich Hegel with their epistemology contrast. Also we saw the positivism and phenomenology and its radical differentation.
Now we are exposing postmodern epistimologies that born as critical to the classical epistemologies of science.For example, I talked about empistemology of learning and how its affects the education.
I like this subject because the epistemology has a philosophical content in wich you can discuss different things and without the need for empirical evidence and like this show my own ideas.
